Acoustic guitar and vocals were recorded simultaneously without a metronome to ensure the most sincere and raw sound. Also, this is the only song on the album where an actual analog synth (Korg Volca Keys) was used. The performance
is accompanied by the sounds of the Jana Pawła ll tram stop in Wroclaw. It was visited by Alex for 3 years almost every morning. Conceptually the song is performed by an alien who has just landed on that exact tram stop. “Madness” reflects on the post-break-up feeling when it feels like one is an actual alien, who is astounded by the world around him and has to learn to live from scratch.
